Homeless

We can change homelessness and how many people are homeless.

Dear Mr. or Mrs. President,

Have you ever seen a homeless person on the street? What did you do about it? Did you give them a couple dollars? How is that going to help them besides buying them a snack not a meal? There are too many in this country that are homeless and are living in homeless shelters that are not in the best condition. Mr. or Mrs. President you need to fix this problem. Did you know one- two million people are homeless in the country you’re going to be running? According to Issue Homeless “Individuals adults were found to make up a large majority of the overall homeless population while children under the age of 18 were found to account for around 23%, families account for 36%. This makes you look bad as our President and makes economy look bad. In my county of Gwinnett the average age of a homeless child is six years old.

You may be thinking nobody is going to hire them because of their appearance. Well, that is why you would add a place where volunteers or workers you hire help the homeless people get all dressed up for an interview. The place would be by a new homeless shelter so they don’t have to walk very far. There would be a new homeless shelter because the ones in Atlanta are not in the best conditions. You would do this so they can get back on their feet which would help our economy.

As our next president you should try to help everyone in every possible way. When you do this you will help out millions of people and our economy. You will also feel good about yourself. If you run for president again you will get one-two million more votes.

Sincerely,

Lila L.
