Immigration

This letter is about the issues today related to immigration in America.

Dear Mr. or Mrs. President,

My name is Luis De La Cruz and I am a 9th grade student at STEM Prep High. I want to talk to you about “Immigration” issues. This is an issue because there are several unfair acts towards immigrants from different countries. The issue regarding immigration should be solved in order to improve not only individually, but also as a nation.

This issue is important to the community because it would decide the future of many immigrants in the United States. I say this because since there are several immigrants in the United States every year then there it will more difficult for them to find jobs and a roof to live under. This should bring awareness to communities that they should help immigrants who do deserve that help. In addition, this will help communities all over the country because there are communities who need help in jobs such as lawn mowing or house keeping. This means that immigrants would be given chances to prove how hard they work in order to be treated the same as the rest of the population. It is important to have immigrants in the country because it will help impact decisions not just based on 1 population but based on several.

One thing you can do to solve this issue is to give immigrants a temporary permit for about a year to have a job. This would help because every year, there are about 11 million of immigrants that come to the United States looking for jobs. Usually, these immigrants bring their families with them, so this means that they will need to provide food and shelter for their families. However, in order to know who you are letting into the country you should run background checks. This would help because you would not be letting just anybody into the United States.

In conclusion, immigration should be one of the issues to be most focused on during your term as President of the United States. It would help immigrants to provide help in different communities that need it. They would also prove to different companies that they too can do the same jobs anybody else in that same work site can do. Furthermore, one thing that can be done about the issue is giving a permit for about a year to immigrants. This permit would be used in order to get a job. In order to get this permit, immigrants would have to go under deep background check in order to not just let anybody into the country and risking the lives of several people. By fixing this issue, you would be able to help the nation become a better place.

Sincerely,

Luis De La Cruz
