The Emulsion of Co2 Gases in the Atmosphere

Dear Next President,

My name is Jalissa Johnson, and I am a sophomore at Belgrade high school in Montana. I would first like to start off by congratulating you on winning this year's presidential election. Today there is a worldwide issue that we can't ignore. Which if we don't take the climate change into account and some of the speculations of global warming our planet could slow down and or possibly shut down the thermalhaline circulation leading to the cooling of certain regions. Then again we as a country have increased the amount of resources being used like burning fossil fuel gases, which this is one many issues, affecting the global warming issue.

Burning of fossil fuels and the deforestation of the forest are only some of the many reasons our planet is changing. Probably one of the many causes of global warming is the emulsion of greenhouse gases or carbon dioxide. How is the carbon dioxide affecting the atmosphere? CO2 affects the atmosphere by acting like a blanket trapping the heat from the sun and warming the planet exponentially. Not only that CO2 can stay in the atmosphere building up the heat and rays from the sun for years up to centuries. If our country continues to be dependent on fossil fuels and other resources the carbon dioxide gases will continue to accumulate in the atmosphere. Over many decades the percentage of heat energy absorbed has increased dramatically. In order to help this problem we can may different alternatives to this global issue that can help our planet without burning fossil fuels. The future may project some issues problems if we don't do anything about this problem. Coal, fossil fuels and natural gases are forms of CO2 that we as a country are dependent on, so if using alternatives to the fossil fuel issue it could possibly have a positive effect on the atmosphere in the mere future. One of the many alternatives to the carbon dioxide problem is by using solar panels or solar energy. Solar energy is based off using sun rays and producing energy out of the sun's rays. Storing the energy from the Sun we can produce energy that does not affect our atmosphere it actually will help clear up the emulsion of green house gases by using less fossil fuels. Another way we can use alternative energy is by using wind energy. Wind energy is based off using wind turbines and storing that energy then using it as electricity for homes. Some homes use this as an alternative for not using as many as fossil fuels. By using some of these many alternatives. We can hopefully clear up our atmosphere naturally throughout time by using different alternatives to fossil fuels and CO2 gases. In which we need take the climate change into account and some of the speculations of global warming our planet could slow down and or possibly shut down the thermalhaline circulation leading to the cooling of certain regions. By doing simple tasks such as using less of these gases we can help our wonderful planet from devastating matters which will effect future generations.
