Education

recommendations about education.

Dear future president,

In this letter I am going to make some suggestions on education. One suggestion that I have is to make the methods of figuring out equations a little simpler. Another suggestion I have is there are also too many tests. One last suggestion I have is to try to lower the behavior of the kids. I do hope that you take my suggestions into consideration.

In this paragraph I am going to talk about my first suggestion which is to make the methods of figuring out equations to be a little simpler. I have made this suggestion because I know a lot of kids who can’t figure out how to answer a question with a method the teachers taught them. I think it would really help them if they had a simpler method to use and a method that is not that hard to figure out. You should also simplify the methods because the kids who don’t understand them might fail a lot of tests that could really hurt their chances of getting into a good college or get into a college at all.

In this paragraph I will be talking about my 2nd suggestion which is there are too many tests. I have made this suggestion because there are so many tests that smart kids get past very easily and that time could be used to teach them other things that their not so good at. There are also kids who don’t know what the tests mean so it could be a bad grade after another bad grade. There are also so many tests that there are almost repeats of the same test with the same questions.

In this paragraph I will be talking about my 3rd and last suggestion of this letter which is we should try to lower the bad behavior of some kids. I have put this reason because bad behavior connects to getting in trouble and not paying attention in class. The bad behavior also affects other kids by influencing them to think that if they can be bad them maybe so could I and after a while the whole school could be. If a kid is being bad then the teacher usually stops teaching and waits for the kid to stop talking so that slows down the process of learning and the class could get behind schedule.

I really hope you will take my suggestions into some consideration on the problems of education. Again my suggestions are to simplify the methods of answering equations, to lower the number of tests, and to try to lower the bad behavior of all the bad kids. These suggestions I think will improve the education of all kids so I hope my suggestions will help the government in the issue of education. Thank you for reading my letter and good luck on being the president of the United States.

Sincerely,

Jonah L.
