Stop tearing families apart

Immigration is important we should find a new way to stop immigration and stop tearing families apart. We can help immigrants stay with their family by giving them a chance to come to the United States with their family and have a nice job and life.

         Dear Future President,

One day I hope to meet the new president. As a future voter, I am going to be honest my letter is going to be about how I see immigration. Immigrants have a family to take care and care about. Some immigrants can help our country. We can help immigrants stay with their family by giving them a chance to come to the United States with their family and have a nice job and life. What makes me think this is the friends and family that I know are immigrants. They make me think this because it looks like their life is hard without paper or documents. And they try their best and work hard to get money and give their kids what they need or want. And it’s hard for them because they don’t know if they’re going to come home and see their kids and wife or if they’re going to get a phone call saying that their taking their family member back to their country. It’s hard for them because they are living under a shadow. They don’t know what’s going to happen or what will happen to them. They work hard to get a better life than how it was in the country they were at. They don’t come to steal other people’s jobs they come to have a better life and give a better life.

The problem is in the place where they are wondering will they make it or not. Will they find a place to stay or will they be running away. Will they make it or not? Right where they are do I miss them or not. Will I go back and see the family or will I stay and sit all day. Want to go back to the United States but they are afraid they can’t. Ice needs to stop tearing families apart.  According to, "people mov.in" a website that talks about immigration,  the population of Mexican immigrants in the U.S is 11,635,995. That’s like 2,327,199 families that Ice is tearing apart. The United States of America was illegal in 1846. The U.S stole the Mexican border Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, California and Utah.  Ice is tearing families apart and that is not right.   I know immigration is something we can resolve. I see hope in you I hope you can solve this problem.

Respectfully,

                  Paola C.
