Sleepy Teens

Teens need more sleep for a better education

Dear future president,

In my research for teens to get more sleep during the school week. I have came to a conclusion that teens need more sleep during the week. Right now teens are only getting around 7 hours of sleep, teens need at least 8 to 8.5 hours of recommended sleep. Teens actually need extra sleep than adults, adults donโ€™t need as much sleep because there bodies are basically all developed all the way while teens are not fully developed. This is why teens to have a later start time for school so when they come to school they are fully awake instead of falling asleep in class during the morning.
