Mr. Trump
Equality
Dear Mr. Trump,
I think the one and only thing that we can agree on with this election is that this has been one of the most confusing, aggravating, stressful, and hopeless election that we have, and probably will, ever go through. I have nothing but respect for someone who is willing to make himself look like an absolute fool in efforts to try and run this country. In these past few months, we have heard an abundance of racial slurs, horrendous "cat calls" towards women (especially the other candidate, Hillary Clinton), and we have heard too many remarks about exactly how you feel about the LGBT community. In my opinion, our president should only build up this country and the people in it, the president should encourage people to bring out their ideas and personalities to this world and ensure that no matter what they decide to do, that they are happy because after all, that's the American dream, isn't it? I don't know exactly how I feel towards you but I have the next four to eight years to form a concrete opinion but just remember to respect the immigrants, respect the people who are apart of the LQBT community, respect the women in this country but most importantly, respect yourself Mr. Trump.
Sincerely, Alyssa.
