Does our school system need to get updates?

I recently was scrolling through a video which explained how so many things have changed in a hundred years, but the school system hasn't changed much. Also in Finland I recently learned that they do not have homework and teachers actually get paid a decent pay. I believe that teachers should be payed just as much as doctors because a doctor can do heart surgery and save a kids life but a teacher can change a students heart for the better and creat their future. if you could just listen to this video and ponder the idea of a new education for the better.
