Better School Lunches

The school lunches are bad in the US this letter has a small solution to the problem...

November 1, 2016

Dear Future President,

I think you all know about our unpopular school lunches that schools serve. Those school lunches are just greasy and give us the mystery of what these lunches are made of.

We the students need better variety of school lunches with healthy and delicious foods, which will make us grow and flourish. We need healthier selections of foods so that our school lunch industry doesn’t lose money. According to the daily mail, lunches in prison are better than school lunches.

According to the NY times, the majority of kids hate school lunches. They get less appealing lunches and slimy foods. According to the Mamaviation school, meat used for school lunch is not qualified to be used in fast food chains. According to the huffington post school, select high schools have been given damaged foods, such as crushed pears and burnt pizza. Kids go to public schools are being served horrible foods. According to CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)’s 12 page report, I found that healthy lunches could surely decrease student absences, improve behavior problems, and improve higher school wide test scores. Healthy students can have a higher education This is important because CDC says that a healthy lunch and exercise can create a bright mind, decrease students’ trouble, and achieve to higher scores on state tests, which are every teacher’s dream.

My hope for a school lunch is that you give us a healthy and delicious lunch every day. Once or twice a week (Monday and Friday), you could give us a small treat like a brownie or a bag of chips or a juice box anything that is healthy. Once a while like near Christmas, you could give us Christmas cookies. On thanksgiving you could give us cranberry pie. Also, you could give us a piece of cake as a treat on the first day or on the last day of school.

Thank you so much for your time reading my letter. I hope my ideas and suggestions will help improve the current issues on school lunch. Kids who go to public schools like me will go to their schools on time everyday with good motivation, which will give all of us a promising future so that we can serve and make this country better.

Sincerely yours,

Kent K

Lab students have been painfully subjected to three debates where they searched for policy talk. Four and a half hours later.. Now, our students will have the chance to speak about an issue of importance and possibly make a recommendation for improvement.
