Animal Abuse

Animal Abuse is a big issue in the world. Its only going to get worse if you don't do anything about it.

September 19,2016

Dear Future President of the United States:

I believe that all animals should be treated equally.

I care about this issue because many animals go through a lot of pain and suffering in their lives. Animals are put inside of cages for their whole life, for example 95% of egg laying hens are put into a cage that is smaller than a sheet of paper, this doesn’t let the hens walk or spread their wings. Even other animals like cows, pigs and turkeys are put into cages or stalls that they are unable to turn around in.

At the slaughter plant chickens are dumped out of trucks and hung by their feet, Their heads go through electrified water before their throats are slit. About 8.8 billion chickens are killed each year for food. Many other animals have to go through this painful process.

Furthermore, If you become president you should really care about this issue because these animals shouldn’t be put through this in their life, they have a right to live a good life. It’s only going to get worse if you don’t do something about it. If you are the next U.S president please help stop animal abuse. These animals that are being abused should be treated like any other animal. "If every cosmetic tested on rabbits or mice had a photo on the packaging showing these animals with weeping swollen eyes and inflamed skin, I believe everyone would leave cruelty on the shelf." Says Paul McCarney.

In conclusion, every animal should be treated equally. You are president now and you need to make a change, this issue is only going to get worse.
