Racial Profiling Needs To Stop Today!
To whom this may concern,
I am very sure you’re aware of the racial discrimination that has been going on non-stop throughout all of our lives.Racial discrimination refers to the practice of treating individuals differently because of their race or color (Workplace Fairness). But I’m not sure if you think about the discrimination among young children, around age 8-14. People don’t realize that children get discriminated too, and it affects them in their life.
This issue matters because people in general should not have to go through this. Especially children being discriminated by adults that are supposed to be there to teach and guide them to better things. Children are more vulnerable to thinking that they might not be perfect, or that they might not be on a certain level of living as others because of their skin tone. If children have the mindset of them having no purpose in life, they’ll think their life is not worth it. Everyone’s life is worth it.
As a 17 year old that has been through it, realize it or not, I say something has to be done to wipe discrimination off the face of the Earth. Whenever I go to a store to buy something, certain people look at me like I’m going to do something wrong when I didn’t have any intentions of doing anything, and I wasn’t even raised that way. I was just just getting some milk for my bowl of cereal. Other families are affected by this, because their kid would come home telling them about how someone was looking at them the wrong way as if they were just some negro trying to take some candy from the candy store without buying them, when the child was actually just trying to purchase some.
As the new president, you should want the majority to look up to you. To say “Wow, this president is doing a fantastic job.” Do something about racial discrimination, inequality, and how this need to end today.
