Criminal Justice
I'm talking about how the death penalty should be revised.
Dear Future President, My name is Jayon Martin from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I'm writing you this letter because I think that the system of the death penalty should be more revised. I care about this situation because more and more innocent people are dying for no such reason. That's why people should revise the death penalty.
More people should have second chances. My suggestion on second chances is for the strike limit should be five strikes. I think that because it's not right. I think that because 3 strikes compared to the distance of your lifetime has no chance competing with each other, that's why we should have five strikes.
Other people should care about this situation because it could be your own mother facing the death penalty, would you want her to die? And what if you get the death penalty while begging for another chance, would you want to die? Many people get their lives taken. Think about that.
Sincerely, Jayon Martin
