Dear Future President,
It doesn't matter what party you are. The government's job is to serve the people, and it's hard to do so if fights continuously break out between the Oval Office and Congress.
I'm sure that, upon your election, you will want to changed things, but the opposite-party members of Congress will likely resist your changes. I know you will not want to compromise, but it will be needed if anything is to get done.
America needs change. Police brutality, prejudice against minorities, massive national debt - all of these need to be fixed. You can help.
Please, try to set aside your party rivalry and work for the good of America. Compromise when you need to, respect the opposite party, and get the job done. Stop arguing with Congress.
