Dear Mr/Ms. President:

Thank you for the opportunity to write you! My name is Gabriel Reyes. I am currently in the 8th grade, attending Magnolia Science Academy 8 in Bell, California. I am writing this letter because I have some concerns regarding immigration. In my ELD class we were asked to choose something that we would like changed in our country and that you as president would be able to change. Additionally, I want the president to make these COPS ACT LIKE COPS and not like the KKK

U.S people are getting hurt family are getting broken up According to Newsela, families are being broken up

Another reason this change is important is

Is because kids are being abused in other countries Newsela states, there is a law where people can come from other countries for protection.Those people who live in fear can ask the U.S for protection

The last reason that this change is important is

The last reason that this change is important is because U.S is in need of people to grow crops and work in the fields. Newsela tells us that, there are not enough farms workers to pick up the crops so they are rotting and we will be forced to get them from other countries.
