Dear Mr. President:

Thank you for the opportunity to write you! I am currently in the 6 th grade, attending Magnolia Science Academy 8 in Bell, California. I am writing this letter because I have some concerns regarding immigration reform In my ELD class we were asked to choose something that we would like changed in our country and that you as president would be able to change. I think that the president should allow illegal immigrants to stay in the US.

One reason this change is important deporting immigrants hurts U.S citizens. According to Newsela, deporting immigrants will break up families.

Another reason this change is important is because kids are getting abused in other countries. Newsela states, the refuge law allows the kids to stay here and be protected as refugees.

The last reason that this change is important is Because farms need workers to harvest the crops. Newsela tells us that, If they allow illegal immigrants to stay in the U.S. it will make it easier to the farmers to harvest the cops the crops and milk the cows.
