The Death Penalty sounds like a small deal, but in reality the death penalty is a really big thing. Innocent people die because someone said they did. In the book “Dead Man Walking” has a man who may have committed a crime. It is a big mystery in history and no one knows if he is innocent or not. People die even if they get no say and if there is barely any evidence. In 18th century China, someone had to commit 25 different crimes to be executed. But today all you had to do is 1 crime. Some people need help, they could have mental problems or be addicted. That means some of those people can’t control themselves. Not all people on the death roll are psychopaths. Next President, bring justice back to these people!
