I think that technology use in the classroom is better than using books.

Dear Mr/Mrs. President:

Congratulations on becoming our next president!. I am an eighth grade student at least one textbook. Our society is so technology oriented and tablets offer many interactive part such as video clips that can show concept in motion, self quizzes that can tell you immediately whether or not you got the questions correct.

Tablets are computers and computers can store a lot of information. Tablets can hold hundreds of information more than textbooks. The tablets can hold many technological features. Tablets can hold 8 to 64 gigabytes of storage. The Amazon kindle Fire can hold 1,000 books. Tablets can hold more information than a textbook.

My second reason is they can update the tablets instead of printing new books. The prices of tablets keep dropping, tablets are more portable than they used to be. Tablets contain many technological features that cannot be found on print textbooks. Tablets are more advanced than textbooks. Textbooks are heavy, and tablets weigh 1-2 pounds. Instead of kids carrying hundreds of textbooks, they can carry light tablets. Tablets don’t need to be replaced as mush as textbooks.

Using tablets is so intuitive that it makes learning fun and easy. Teachers can tailor learning to an individual level. Teachers can change lessons so they can work better. Children with little technology experience can learn fast. Even students that never had a tablet can learn. There are many apps that can make learning fun and easy. This is why tablets should be more used than textbooks

I really think that tablet is better than textbooks. Students in school should be able to have access to tablets to help theme learn.

Thank you for reading my letter.

Sincerely,

Robert T.
