We need less Gun Control

Dear Mr. / Madam President : I have seen a lot of letters to you about how removing guns will stop gun violence. I am writing to disagree with this for these reasons.

Firstly, gun control aims to stop gun violence, which means that it is targeted towards CRIMINALS! - people that break the law. However, a good number of our population are not law breakers.

Secondly, we need to respect the 2nd amendment which clearly states, “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Because of these reasons, I think that strengthening gun control makes us weaker and we should drop gun control altogether.
