Abortion: Is it truly safe?
Abortion should be considered a crime...
Dear Future President,
Abortion is a way of murder. When someone is pregnant and another person kills both the mother and child, it’s considered murder. It should still be considered murder when the woman is pregnant and decides to have an abortion. A life is a life. No matter how it is put (embryo, fetus, other scientific names), it is still a life. There was a study in the year of 1997 by some scientists in Finland has come to a conclusion that life begins at conception (http://www.emedicinehealth.com/abortion/article_em.htm). So to make it short and not so sweet, a woman who made the decision to have an abortion and took action to get it done has already killed the life of the innocent child inside of her.
Women who get an abortion are likely to die quicker than an average woman who decided not to have an abortion. The main reason that a woman commits suicide after an abortion has to do with the trauma they went through when they did the procedure and the feelings of what they just did.Not only that, but there are health risks involved when a woman has an abortion. Women with a history of abortion are 2.3 times more prone to having cervical cancer, compared to women with no history of abortion. There has been proof that a woman who has had an abortion sometimes leads to infertility. Infertility has been found to be up to 30 percent more common among women who have had abortions.
Abortion is a dangerous procedure on both human beings involved. The baby who was killed within eight weeks of pregnancy feels pain when being aborted. The woman who made the decision to do the procedure feels pain and is more prone to die younger. All abortion is doing is lessening our population. To add to this, it’s also leaving pain and regret to those who have suffered the procedure of abortion or has had loved ones who made that decision.
Abortion should be considered a crime because it is murder and all it is doing is harming our country. As a leader for this country, I know that you will want to do what is best for our people. I hope you come to a conclusion on abortion restrictions. And thank you for taking your time on reading this letter, I hope that you will be a well accomplished president.
