Dear future president.

Gun control is a vary controversial subject in america right now since trump and hillary one all about gun control and the other isn't. Personally i am on the side of the right to bear arms. There are some pros and cons to gun control. According to David Lampo “there is no correlation between Murder and robbery rates. If you were to eliminate all assault rifle style weapons and only allow guns with seven bullets or less. A guns magazine can be changed within about a second and a half then someone is able to kill or harm again. It's a proven fact that gun control is a racist battle that focuses on inner,city poor black communities. They are perceived to be more dangerous than white gun owners. Its also a fact that most gun control laws are founded on racial fear. In the late 1960’s, gun control laws were enacted in reaction to gun carrying black panthers (black panthers were a gang).

In Mexico they have some of the strictest gun laws and still they have issues with murders and homicides. In fact in 2012 mexico had 11,309 gun related murders and homicides and the usa only had 9,146 murders and homicides using a gun. It's a fact that guns don't kill people kill people. We need more gun education and mental illness screenings to prevent massacres. The sporting arms and ammunition association said “whether in the field,at the range or in the home a responsible and knowledgeable gun owner is rarely involved in a firearms accident of any kind."

Surveys have shown that people think gun control laws will give to much power to the government. “if you look at why our Founding Fathers put it the Second Amendment there, they had lived under the tyranny of King George and they wanted to make sure that these free people in this new country would never be subjugated again and have to live under tyranny."
