The Racial Profiling Epidemic

In our nation there are too many examples of racial profiling.

Dear Future President

Today in this nation, there is too much racial profiling in the police force. For example Philando Castile, Rodney King, Michael Brown, etc to name a few of the thousands who suffer from racial prejudice. We have a nation divided over the cause of the color of their skin. But our nation has the tools to stop this epidemic. But it isn’t just seen in one race every race has been affected by this epidemic. Together we can stop this epidemic in our cities, states, and countries.

This nation was built on the principles of liberty and justice for all. But the statistics have not complied with this creed. In this statistic an astounding number, 509 Americans have been killed by police violence. With 484 men were killed and 25 women. Then in another study in NYC there were 97,000 people who were stopped and frisked in the streets. This shows the problems America is faced with

In conclusion America has been faced with racial profiling for the last 20 years. We have a nation has to stop this problem. We need to start in our cities, counties, states and as a nation. We can do this together. so Future President please help to stop this Epidemic. And may God Bless the United States of America.

Sincerely,

Guillermo S., Alex O., and Ashwin I.
