College Tuition

College tuition is more expensive then ever and is leaving students with debt.

Joseph DiPadova 302

Dear Future President,

There is a growing problem in the U.S. that I hope you can eliminate. Many families struggle with paying college tuition. College is very expensive and for families that have multiple children it can really hurt them financially.

More than 13 million students enroll in college each year and many of them graduate with a lot of student debt.  College tuition averages between $22,000 to $31,000 a year which is $88,000 to $124,000 if an individual goes to college for four years. The average family income per year is $50,000 and it is unrealistic to assume that they can use half of that income to pay for college tuition.

I believe if college were more affordable, college graduates would be able to contribute to our economy quicker by reinvesting their income into housing and investments rather than paying hundreds of thousands of dollars towards student loans.

As the leader of our nation, I have faith that you will do all that you can to make college education more affordable for all Americans.

Sincerely,

Joseph DiPadova
