Inform citizens about gun control

More gun control and restrictions because too many people die from gun related accidents.

Dear President,

I would like to ask to help educate people about the dangers of guns and how they contributed to the deaths of many people. An estimated 6 billion dollars in revenue is generated by the gun and ammunition industry in the USA. The website business.time.com found that, 47% of Americans have a gun in their home. That's nearly half of the population. People shouldn't need guns; they should believe in our law enforcement and believe they can protect them.

In African Americans alone 82 percent of gun deaths are homicides. 75 % of children killed with guns this year have been under the age of 12. It's now affecting the future of people that will run our country. In a study done by the https://www.washingtonpost.com they discovered the shocking difference in how blacks and whites are killed by guns. This why guns need to be taken off the streets.

According to http://www.ussc.gov/sites these offenders were Black (51.2%), followed by White (27.0%),Hispanic (18.8%), and Other Races (2.9%). And 98.2% of the felons arrested for gun possession were male. Thats insane how easy it was for convicted felons to get their hands on guns now imagine how easy it is for children.

The http://www.thedailybeast.com did a study in iowa it’s easier to sell guns then lemonade because you need a business permit and food license to sell lemonade? And you don't need anything sell guns. This means anybody can get their hands on a gun.

In conclusion I am just asking for you to inform are citizens these shocking statistics and help keep guns of the street and people out of jail. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Mohamed Abdishakur
