Gun Violence

Gun violence is a very serious problem that should be dealt with.

Dear Sir or Madam:

It has come to our attention that there is a serious problem between the lines of gun violence. We were wondering why people aren’t reacting to this problem the way it should be reacted to. How would you feel if someone had a gun and shot one of your family members? This happens to more than 1,000 families a month. A way to possibly reduce this problem is to request a law that enrolls of only serving officers/ military personnel to be in use of guns. As we pointed out this is a serious problem that must be dealt with.

Guns are believed to be murderous weapon . People aren’t safe when other people have guns and threaten them. In Guns Protect People by Sharon Harris, she states: “I do not approve of background check, waiting periods, registration, or mandatory training, It’s our right to use whatever means we choose to protect ourselves.” There are more suicides than homicides. Most die in firearm- related.” 27.4 million adults who owned guns mainly for protection, and about 37.0 million owned partly for protection.

Other people think that you should lock the gunman/gunmen in prison. We believe that this idea is illogical and is downright horrible. We believe that this is an illogical and is downright horrible because once the gunman/gunmen have served their time, once they are released, they might do the exact same thing that got them in jail in the first place. According to Keeping criminals out of jail is only good for criminals by Alasdair Palmer, he states: “It's actually probably a good idea to put people together in a prison, and our options for punishment are fairly limited. Prisons are an improvement over early punishments.”

Everybody should care about gun violence because a lot of people are getting killed by guns. People pull out guns in even small fights. It will affect people in this country because a lot of good and helpful people are getting killed by bad people. The next president should do something about this topic because a lot of doctors,Scientists and other great people that can help our country are getting killed. Because some bad people are killing good people because they get money or something to harm other people. I think a lot of great people should get guns to protect themselves. In the article Gun Violence Is a Serious Problem by Ed James, he states: ¨Out of the current total firearms population of some 190 million, rifles and shotguns outnumber handguns two to one, yet handguns account for the majority. of killings, woundings, and gun crimes.¨

As expressed, gun violence is a serious problem that is an important situation that must be dealt with and people should deal with it the way it should be dealt with. The next president do something about gun violence. The next president should take guns away from people who are injuring other people for small reasons. Some of the people can have it for protection. But if they use it for other reasons it should be taken away for them because then they can do a lot of damage or kill a lot of people.

Thank you for your time and with kindness and respect

We hope you deal with this problem

Sincerely,
