N.C. Bathroom Bill

Others opinion and myself on N.C. bathroom bill.

Mr. President-

The problem in N.C. about the Transgender bathroom law, must be addressed. In N.C. hundreds of people are outraged, and are even taking strong action to fight N.C. on opposing this bill. This bill will allow or ban transgenders to use the bathroom of their gender identity.

I feel that their is a fine line on this bill and it could cause many problems but it could also fix a lot more. Many people will take advantage of the freedom and use it as a weapon, many will take advantage of it and use it for something bad. Like I said, it could stir the pot of problems but it could also let it settle. I also think that it's just a bathroom and it is no big deal if a chick or a dude uses it because let’s be honest We all judge everyone that walks in and out through that door as much as we can until they leave, so I feel like this is one of those things they are just going to have to man up on and just deal with. Though many companies are backing out of N.C. on many deals and even the NCAA has backed out of having their championship game in N.C. because of the opposing Bathroom Bill. The amount of money it will take to build a gender-fluid bathroom in every location there is a bathroom will take millions of dollars which is exactly what companies cannot afford. For example at Texas Road-House, We are being forced to build a family bathroom and We can afford it, it’s just that it’s not exactly like we have the cash just to throw around.

Other people seem to think that the bill should be passed and that it is okay for people to go into the bathroom of the gender that they identify as. Other people think that all people should have the equal right to go in whatever bathroom that they want and that they shouldn't feel judged even though nobody is in the bathroom for more than 10 mins unless You are trying to stay in there. But a lot of people are against it, everyday people, and parents. Like I said earlier, this bill will stir the pot of problems, such as people will use it as a weapon for harassment, people will use it wrongly to do bad things for pleasure. Mostly what people are afraid of is the harassment and weirdos coming in. I’ve heard people talking about it, and they don’t want 40 year old “trans” men to go into the bathroom with their younger daughters. Passing this bill is just opening another door for problems. The state of Mississippi did something unusual. It made the definition of man and woman a matter of law: “Male (man) or female (woman) refer to an individual’s immutable biological sex as objectively determined by anatomy and genetics at time of birth.” “The law McCrory signed in March doesn’t just block transgender people from using the bathroom of their choice. It blocks cities and towns in the state from implementing any local measures to expand protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals.” Which actually means that there was no bathroom law, it means that we are not allowed to give extra protection to LGBT.

With other people's opinions in mind, I still stand on the side of opposing the bill. The bill will open more doors that We do not need open, yes it can close some doors but I and many others would rather we keep those doors closed and that We just keep the doors that are open, open. This bill will cost companies millions and is actually causing hundreds of problems for the state of N.C. and if people would just man the hell up, maybe We would not have to be dealing with all this drama. I respect the government of N.C. for not hand feeding the LGBT whatever they want when they get mad about something.
