Police of Amercia

Police Brutality is rising by the minute.

Dear future President

Imagine a world without police brutality and mis shooting. A place where people won't be stereotypical or racist. Everyone will be safe under the policies care not worry about where they walk. A world where police will trust each other and with proper training it could happen.

Many people are beat and shot by police no matter the race. Police have shot “59 people in 24 days of 2016, Wales and England have shot 55 in the last 24 years”. Police have used excessive force in capturing and controlling citizens. A month ago a black man was lethally shot. After running away he put his hands up and stopped, but police lethally shot him. In respect police usually panic and then shoot, but proper training could help. Police are trained to use force in dangerous situations but don’t always list the types.

Racism or stereotyping is a big problem that’s a reason why we have shootings police don’t trust black people. Police have used excessive force to black and white men and treating the them with disrespect. Police are supposed to protect our rights that includes freedom of religion or race, not threaten those rights. Police identify a person by race in many cases from a previous situation, this can lead to racist stereotypes. Police don’t trust blacks, and blacks don’t trust police.

Only about a third of blacks but roughly three-quarters of whites say police in their communities do an excellent or good job in using the appropriate force on suspects, treating all racial and ethnic minorities “According to Fatal Encounters, the database created by former Reno News & Review editor and journalism instructor Burghart (which tracks all deaths resulting from interactions with police), a total of 1,388 people were killed by police in 2015, 318 (23%) of them black, and 560 (40%) of them white. So roughly 23 percent of those killed by any police interaction in 2015 were black and just over 40 percent were white.”

Police have been brutal, racist to all types of people in america , more than any other countries. Most police are actually good at their job, but the ones that we have described need to be corrected for the good of the country and states.
