Dear Next President:
In America we have a big access to drugs and that should change. People have been using medicine for other things than medical purposes. Kids are starting to use illegal drugs and it’s getting out of hand. It should be harder to get drugs.
People use drugs that are not prescribed to them, overdose with their prescriptions or they buy it illegally. Some people also grow it legally or illegally. People struggle with addiction towards medicine and drugs. The Nation can get access to drugs more easy than we should be able to.
If there is a world with less access to drugs, then there will be less fines and arrests. Illegal drugs can harm people and their health. People could spend money on their health and improve their lives. Instead of getting money from drugs, they could get money from jobs and help the society.
It should be harder to get access to drugs. Only put the amount of drugs people need in their prescription, and don’t put more than they need. Make a easy access place to drop off old leftover prescription.
If there are less access to drugs, fewer people will be abusing prescription drugs. They will be able to function better if they're not on drugs. There will be more job opportunities for the people who abused drugs.
The president should make prescription drugs have only what they need. If the prescription you have has more than you need then it would be easy to abuse them.
Sincerely,
Paige
