Deportation

This letter talks about deportation and how it splits families.

 Dear Donald Trump,

There are issues related to immigration and deportation in this country that need to be addressed. Illegal immigrants shouldn’t be deported because they have families here and have established deep roots with the community and country. Just think about it. Would you like to be separated from your family just because you are not legally allowed a country? Probably not. According to Final Act of the 1951 U.N. Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Status Of Refugees and Stateless Persons, family unity is a fundamental right that all of us should have.

Why is is that immigrants come to the United States in the first place? They come to America for better opportunities such as to live in freedom, to practice their religion freely, to escape poverty or oppression, and to make better lives for themselves and their children . They probably don't have time to think about the details. Immigrants don’t have a proper place in this society either. According to a recent report called The Social Mobility of Immigrants and Their Children, first generation immigrants in Europe and North America experience less freedom when they migrate usually offered low skilled or low paying jobs that don’t require a high level of education. Not only jobs, we are not fair with them and blame them for things that they haven't even done. If these immigrants are getting deported after this, what is the point of even allowing them into our country?

It started out just like an ordinary day when Ronald Soza dropped his kids off the school. When they came home, their father was missing. It had turned out that a deportation officer had come and taken Ronald Soza, an undocumented citizen from Nicaragua to a detention center. This is a script that illegal citizens are scared will happen. Now these kids live by themselves in hope that their parents will return to America.

However some people disagree with my opinion. This is your plan ” “Anyone who enters the U.S. illegally is subject to deportation. That is what it means to have laws and to have a country.” You wants to have a entry-exit tracking system surrounding our whole country. This means that immigrants will not be able to visit their families because they will be considered a threat. Once they leave, they will not come back. This dramatic drop in the population will affect our economy. We will lose thousands of jobs all at once. However I believe that Hillary Clinton plan will work out According to Hiliary Clinton’s website (https://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/immigration-reform/) she wanted to only deport the people who cause violence and reach out to help the refugees that have escaped their war torn countries.

I respect you and your ideas as you are president of the United States. You have the world’s power in your hands. Please use it wisely. I hope you take Hillary's plan in consideration. We have faith in you.

All The Best
