Dear, future president

Human trafficking is growing in the United States and people are suffering and we must stop it. Young women are forced into prostitution, teens are being used and abused. People are getting kidnapped or tricked and forced to work for the traffickers. These people make millions of dollars and make it illegally.

This forced labor generates $150.2 billion profits illegally per year globally. There are about 17,500 people trafficked in the U.S. Human trafficking is the third largest international crime industry. About 3,287 people are kidnapped and forced into work everyday.

The number of cases and facts from the hotline are just so scary. According to Human Trafficking Hotline, “1,828 minors are used out of 5,748 cases and are mostly used for sex with the number being 4,177 sex cases out of 5,748 cases.” Number of women being used in prostitution is just so ugly and disgusting at 4,803 out of 5,748 human trafficking cases. According to Mashable, “In 2014, the National Human Trafficking Resource Center hotline received multiple reports of human trafficking cases from every state within the U.S. California had the most complaints.” This is scary not knowing your safe everywhere you go.

So, future President, you must help and show people the way to safety. Only humans can end this and make it safe for young people. You must spread the hotline so it is there for people to call when they see human trafficking and you spread it by commercials, radio and also social media . Also spread the word of the National Day of Human Trafficking by news of the day on radio, television, and social media so people know more about what is happening in this country and might end it. This is spreading more and more and millions of traffickers making billions of dollars we must make america safe.
