Are we taking terrorism seriously enough?

“The threats from terrorism are real, but we will overcome it,” President Obama said at an oval office speech. Will we though? President Obama hasn't been acting like it's a big problem. To many innocent people are being killed by terrorism. If we let it go on for any longer, it's going to grow.

Dear Next President:

“The threats from terrorism are real, but we will overcome it” President Obama said at a oval office speech. The attacks that have really been a problem now are based on terrorism and if that isn't the number one problem now, It's definitely one of the biggest and one we need to take very, very seriously.

One way some people think is the best way to get rid of the attack is to create a gun law and this will affect kids in ways you would think. Kids can now walk around without being kidnapped by someone with a gun For Shop owner or the common man its helps because you won't get help at gunpoint while you are being robbed or just while you are walking around in a neighborhood. Guns are a dangerous thing and maybe only people that use guns for their jobs should have one.

Moreover, an attack on Nov. 13, 2015 is recorded as the second biggest by ISIS since 2001 killing 130 people and injuring many more. Even more recent than that. A couple carried out an attack at a party killing several people. A facebook official said that the couple pledged their allegiance to ISIS at about the same time they carried out their attack. In this case you can’t really expect that to happen or prepare for it, but the gun control law would help

Yet again another attack Happened in Nice on Bastille day that killed 84 cheering people and injured many more. As you can see and attack can happen any time anywhere. But the thining is, is that many times it’s hard to stop whatever happens. We need to stop the attacks before they happen. So as you can see these ISIS attacks are not small and if they keep continuing, people around the world, kids and adults will suffer

I am in the united states because of its super safe security. But now, because of the recent attacks I am reconsidering the united states level of safety. The attacks that have really been a problem now are based on terrorism. And if that isn't the number one problem now, It's definitely one of the biggest And one we need to take very, very seriously.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.

Sincerely,

Carter
