child abuse

This letter is about child abuse. and what needs to be done

Dear Next President,

I would like to congratulate you on your victory in the past election, I am a big fan of your success. I would really like to talk over with you about child abuse because there has been way too many events going on around the world with child abuse and it sickens me to watch it. If a child is abused the parent should be sentenced to jail for life or even taken away from their child depending on the level of abuse.

Personally I have witnessed child abuse myself. Parents will literally black out and start hitting their child, some parents just don't understand that children can make mistakes and they shouldn't be punished crucially for it. It wasn't really to the highest punishment but just even hearing or seeing a child hit over something so little makes my heart drop. Child abuse is a very serious subject considering these children are the next generation. In fact, the national statistics alliance website shows the recorded of children abused in 2014.“116, 940 children were ages 0 to 6 years 115,959 children were ages 7 to 12 years 81,025 children were ages 13 to 18 years 205,438 children reported sexual abuse 60,897 children reported physical abuse 211,831 children participated in on-site forensic interviewing at a Children’s Advocacy Center”. Witch that you can say is a unnecessary number of child abuse for those through the ages of 0-13 have the. There are many adults out there that are not responsible enough to have a child. Treating children this way is not right and parents need consequences. Abusing a child may cause a lot of emotional damage and even physical damage, it can cause a lot of depression and most of the time harming themselves come to mind. According to the website findlaw.com, “most states, child abuse may be charged as either felony or less serious offense depending on the circumstances”. I think that the states and the authority are not taking child abuse to its most serious extent. And there should be way more strict consequences. Like more jail sentences, Or even taking their children away, like child protective services. These consequences happen but not as consistent as they should be especially with the high rates of children abused. Not everyone deserves a child if they are just gonna bring harm to their lives.

Therefore Mr.President us people that are highly against it should come together and make child abuse decrease. Like more programs, more news alerts about child abuse consequences and forsure higher consequences for those who abuse their children. I think that it is terrible how many children out there are getting abused because their parents can't even handle themselves. A Lot of it ends up on social media and the news. But the person responsible never really gets the right consequence. No child deserves it. We and the authority should put an end to it.

Sincerely,

Tyrinn zubulake
