Gun Control Rights

10/20/2016 Dear Future President, Throughout the United States there are hundreds of homicides every day, and taking away our right to the second amendment and gun laws would drastically increase that rate. I know you’re probably thinking, well wouldn't there be less homicides because people would have guns? No. Criminals will still have ways to get guns. I feel this way because it seem that most the democrats are scared to death of guns and they don't want anything to do with guns. Why not? Guns can be used both ways they can be used to kill someone or they can be used to defend yourself. If we took everyone's guns away and someone walked into your house with a semi automatic gun. How would you defend yourself?Are you gonna go up with a baseball bat against a semi automatic rifle. I don't think so. So, if we don't get rid of guns we put a gun in every household to defend ourselves. The founding fathers put gun rights in the Bill Of Rights for a reason they believed we should have guns to defend ourselves and i'm not sure how people are gun have a way around the 2nd amendment that is set in stone but i guess that doesn't matter anymore these days.
