Sir/Madame President,

I really hope that you will get the possibility to read this letter, the reason that I'm writing this letter is about my topic. My topic is about the “Illegal Immigration.” I'm worried about this theme because I'm so into it. What makes me nervous is what are you going to do when you will win? Are you going to deport them or make them officially American citizens? I can say some of the positive things that immigrants do for the country.

They invest in businesses here, they go to college, they buy cars and they pay rent. All this money goes to the people who are American citizens and to the country through taxes, and what are we going to do about this, deport them???

I have done some reading of sources on the internet about “Does Illegal Immigration help taxes” and I saw that immigrants help pay taxes. Based on the article “Undocumented Immigrants' State and Local Tax Contributions” it says that immigrants pay $11.64 billion in state and local taxes.When they get the payment they pay even more than American citizens, and they get nothing back.

I care a lot about this topic because just imagine if this happens to you. People have come here 20 years ago and spent their entire life and spent thousand of dollars for lawyers and they got in debt because no immigrants can get enough money to pay rent and food and then save money for lawyers. What are they going to do now when they are at least 55 years old and tired from all the work that they have done and have no money in their pockets and you are going to deport them. It's gonna be like you throw them on streets.

So I would really ask you to do is not deport them and if it is possible why not make them legally U.S citizens? They would do nothing except good for this country.
