College Costs
College costs these days are extremely high. These costs have become so high, some middle and lower class families won't be able to afford it. It has become a great problem to today’s teenagers.
What does college mean to me? To me it is the final step to finishing school, entering my adult years and beginning the start of my brand new life and future.College is an essential part of someone’s life. It can be the key to being a doctor, lawyer, and thousands of jobs to choose from. The enormous reason kids don’t go, is the price.College costs are too high for an average teenager because most teens can't afford it with or without their families help and not going to college can ruin their careers and future.
Prices in California range from $20,000 to $50,000. These numbers are extremely high and tough for the middle and lower class family and/or teenager.Student dept has, not doubled but tripled in the last 8 years. It had added up to about one-trillion dollars. I think that education today shouldn't be something that we have to save up or double shift for. Education is extremely important. Around 65.9% of kids go to college after high school.
Middle and lower class families are definitely adding on. About 50% of america is lower class. This is definitely a big problem. Lots of these homes cannot afford colleges then making it a lot harder for the kids to deal with. Only about 21% are upper class which 20% go to college when 38% of lower class is a lot different.
Now there are some reasons on why this money is used. Most of the money that the students have to pay for is needed for the college. Most goes to funds, supplies, staff and other essential things. My only concern is how they will be able to afford it.
In my conclusion I believe that the college prices should lower down a lot. It could make a lot of families happier. It could save lives and help the world. Thank you for your time
