Stopping Terrorism Completlety

Everyday Isis continues to cause destruction and kill innocent people in and out their country. And everyday Isis is recruiting more and more people. Our country, the U.S.A. needs to help the virtuous, and the countries that are struggling to stand and defend themselves on their own.

Dear Next President,

Hello, I hope you are doing good and adjusting well with your new job. As you can see, there are many many issues going on all around the world. I’m going to talk about one that means the most to me, and my community. Isis has begun to cause a huge problem, not just here, not just the Middle East, but everywhere! I’m sure you agree that we have to do more about this, to stop it from destroying the world that has been getting stronger and more successful over the past billions of years. The country we built up to be cannot be destroyed by this evil problem. So, why are we not stopping it? Or more in fact, Why are you not doing anything to stop it?

I am Chaldean. If you don’t know what this is, it is basically Christian-Catholics from Iraq with their own language called Chaldean, which is similar to Arabic, or even Aramaic, but is not the same. Many thousands of Chaldean's have settled here in the U.S., mostly in Michigan. We have our churches and our families here, but we have our real homes back in Iraq. But right now our country, our cities, and homes are no more. They’ve been destroyed because of terrorism! So someone like me who’s always dreamt of the seeing the place where my parents grew up can’t do that anymore. All I see is my dad's home destroyed and my mom's church burned down. Maybe now you can see why this topic is important to me, and my community.

Everyday Isis continues to cause destruction and kill innocent people in and out their country. And everyday Isis is recruiting too many people. Our country the United States of America needs to help the virtuous, and the countries that are struggling to stand and defend themselves on their own. Www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-04-18/us-pledges-more-troops-weapons-money-to-fight-isis-in-iraq says that “ the White House has approved raising the number of U.S. troops deployed there to more than 4,000. The U.S. will also deploy attack helicopters, rocket-powered artillery and hundreds of millions of dollars more to support Iraq’s fight against the Islamic State group.” When I first saw this number, I was shocked. We have fought in pointless wars, with millions of troops. This is a serious situation, and to only have 4,000+ soldiers breaks my heart.

Personally, I feel that the best thing to do to solve this situation is to possibly gather spies and find out the main areas of Isis' gatherings, and attack. Granting all this, I would not really listen to my opinion on how to solve this, seeing as I am only 15, and don’t know much about solving war situations like this. Although I do understand that this would take a lot of money away from the U.S. and it would make others very mad to be even involved in this position. Is it really worth assumably letting ISIS kill more in the U.S. and more guiltless, crime less humans in the Middle East.

Even though terrorism has become such a huge problem. We should not go destroying good peoples homes. We should be trying to accept these good, innocent people into our country, especially the children. Millions of children have been misplaced, have no homes, cannot get good education much less eat 3 meals a day. Just the thought of these poor little kids makes my eyes tear up. If you cannot do anything to stop Isis, I encourage you to please help these refugees.

So again I'm going to ask, what are YOU going to do about this terrorism problem? I hope you see that there have been hundreds of attacks and thousands of people killed. That there are now millions of refugees without homes, or parents because more than half of these refugees are little children, who are struggling and suffering to find food and now can’t even go to school. I hope you see that there has to be something more done about this issue. If you decide to further your help, I’m 100% sure that those people will surely appreciate the help you’ve given them.

Sincerely,

Adrina
