Dear Next President, You, whoever you may be, have to be the kind of president who does the right thing. Not by your own standards but by the standards of the nation and the people within. You need to hear the people’s words and react accordingly. You need to be able to take every word against you with a grain of salt and endure through the harsh words that try to change and bend you to their will. No madder what you do there will always be the people who don’t like what you say and what you do, but if you truly do what is right and just for our nation, then you will be able to come out on top with a greater nation behind you. Moreover, you have to be the kind of president who thinks ahead and plans. Following what you think is right is only going to get you so far if you don’t have any plans to get there and any plans for what is going to happen afterwards. You have to think ahead and have ideas for what you want to achieve, which in turn will help you plan out your ideas and make the path to your goals that much straighter. And if you can deliver those plans to the nation and people, they will be able to understand your thoughts and ideas just that much more easily. But most importantly, you have to be able to put yourself in the shoes of the people. The people are the most quintessential part of the nation for a nation is it’s people. If you can put yourself into the mindset of these people and see how every action you take affects them, then you can make the right decision for the nation, as well as the people.
