Dear Next President,

We need to keep the 2nd amendment. Our country is the land of freedom. If you take away the guns, it takes a sliver of our freedom away. Is that what you want, our freedom to be taken from us? The founding fathers of this country wrote the amendment because King George took away our guns. You also would take part of our Bill Of Rights.

Guns are not to blame for killing people. It is the person behind the gun. Don’t sue the companies who made the guns. They did nothing wrong. If we take away the guns, bad people will still be able to get them on the black market, and you can’t stop that. I like the country. Please don’t make awful decisions that will destroy us.

In America the leading cause to death aren’t guns. The top ten causes of deaths, according to Medical News Today “MNT” are,

1. Heart disease

2. Cancer

3. Chronic lower respiratory disease

4. Accidents (unintentional)

5. Stroke

6. Alzheimer's disease

7. Diabetes

8.Influenza and pneumonia

9. Kidney disease

10. Suicide (intentional self-harm).

I do not see gun shootings in there.. This is fact not opinion.
