Sex Education
The sex education we have for adolescents can be modified to be ideal and more effective than the one we have today.
Dear Future President, October 27,2016
I believe that in the United States, the sex education we have for adolescents can be modified. To be ideal and more effective than the one we have today. Kids learn the infections, diseases, and the sicknesses they can get from having sex. One of the things that the United States does is sexual education is under-taught in America. 25 percent of all new HIV infections in the United States are teens Yet we are expected to thrive in an overspecialized pop-culture era.
As a future President you should tell people who teach sex education to Not teach 17 and underwith abstinence only, they need facts too "More than 80% of the federally funded abstinence - only curricula contains false, misleading or distorted information.” “the U.S has the highest rate of teen pregnancy in the developed world.” “There is no evidence that abstinence-only sex education is effective.”
What i believe is that the united states, the sex education we have for adolescents can be re-modified. The people who teach sex education to not teach 17 and under.
Sincerely,
Aiden Padilla
