I have some concerns about who becomes Americas next president. Many things have changed in the last few years. There have been many mass shootings across the U.S.. Most of the people that are being shot are either African Americans or police. Many people have said that the U.S. government needs to take away our guns. But isnt it our right to bear arms?

   The 2nd Amendment states that it is the right of the people to keep and bear arms. I dont see how you can try and take away the 2nd Amendment? I makes me mad how people can say that they need to take our guns away but then they go get behind their armed guards and go to their vehicle. That is being very hipocritical. If you take away our guns it will leave many people like women and elderly people very vulnerable. 

  Guns arent the ones killing people, people are the ones killing people. So instead of taking away our guns the government needs to do background checks every time someone tries to buy a gun. If they have no records of things like robbery and violence then they can buy the gun, but if they do they cant. Most of the time people who say that they want to take away our guns dont even own one. So these people wouldnt even know how much the Second Amendment means to us. Pleas dont take away our guns!
