Dear Future President,

I am writing to you because I am very concerned about Cancer. I am concerned first, because it has affected my family in many ways, like killing 2 family members and injuring 3. It has left a strong dent in our family . Another reason is because it kills many others in the world, like my friend's parents and it hurts their family to and sadly, we still don’t have a cure.

Also, cancer is not just one disease, it is a group of more than 100 different and distinctive diseases. If our American scientists could work on the little ones and then over time, kill it all, approximately 1 in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20. The causes of child hood cancer are not under stood, so that means that 1 in 285 children in the U.S. each year could die because of cancer.

In conclusion, I think you, the future President, should take part in donating money to scientist and Alex's lemonade stand to support them in getting equipment to help solve a cure for cancer.
