Racism

Racism in the United States

Dear future president,

My name is Jada Little and I am a 15 year old female that attends Community Academy of Science and Health and I’m a sophomore. Something I think should really change is racism. Now I know it will never end but there might be a possibility that one day it will. This is not the 1950’s. People don’t think that black face is cool so why do it? A certain race shouldn’t have to feel down about themselves because another race may feel superior. People shouldn’t bash a race about a certain thing they do and then end up “recreating” it and it all of a sudden becomes acceptable.

This topic has a very strong affect on me because as a young black female I see this happening and it gets me scared because I have read this in textbooks and it’s actually happening before my very own eyes.

The future president needs to focus on this topic because it’s going to always be a topic that many people are going to bring up.

Jada
