Police Brutality

Police brutality is the use of excessive and/or unnecessary force by police when dealing with civilians. “Excessive use of force” means a force well beyond what would be necessary in order to handle a situation.

Hi my name is Marc Joseph, I wrote a letter earlier on sex trafficking, But now i'm going to talk about Police brutality. This is a big topic, police officers are treating African Americans unfairly and that must stop. Many unarmed African Americans have been shot even tho they put there hands up. While on the other hand they treat the whites with care, for example the dude that went to school and started shooting and then handled with care to the police car. That isn't fair to African Americans because they get brutalized for things like stealing which is better then killing people. That's not right the person who killed multiple people have been handled with care and the one who stole got brutalized. And I believe that this must stop no more racism towards African Americans.  I understand it that not all police officers who do that but the one who does must be fired or fine thousands of dollars so they wouldn't act like that anymore. I think that this would stop the Black Lives Matter movement. The reason that its still on is because there isn't severe consequences, now if there is then there wouldn't be much protests as usual. So i would like you Mr or Mrs president to create a new type a law so that these issues would not be addressed again.

Sincerely,                                                                                                                                                                           Marc Robson Joseph                                                                                                                                                    From Community Academy of Science and Health
