Dear future president,

 How do you plan on improving the education system in the United States? What is your plan, because so far you haven't said much on the subject. I thought that you might like a few ideas. You could increase school funding. That's kind of an obvious answer but it doesn't mean it won't work. You could lower the cost of college by having the government subsidize tuition. Defense department spending could be cut to offset the increased costs of subsidized tuition and fees associated with higher education. The United States spends more on defense that the next dozen nations combined. Our security would not be jeopardized by investing in the future generations of American students.
