Gun Control
Gun Control is getting out of hand....
Dear Future President,
Gun control is something that's getting worse each year. It is spreading around the world but most importantly the United States of America. This year there has been a couple of big shootings. One major shooting was in Orlando. It was a calm Sunday night in a club, when suddenly you hear shots firing, people screaming and darting out the club. It was a bad night for Orlando, losing exactly 49 people.... This needs to stop sooner or later.
Many stores sells guns, making it easy for anyone to obtain a gun. People take advantage of this, they can buy many bullets and different guns with just a swipe. In 2014, 31% of homes had control of guns in the United States. And in 20133, the centers for Disease Control and Prevention (COC) estimated that 33,636 Americans were killed by fire arms. 63% were suicides and 33.3% were homicides. According to a study conducted by Johns Hopkins University, stricter requirements on registration and licensing would prevent criminals from buying any types of guns.
This is creating the deaths in the United States increase yearly. We need to look through the persons' background and a license to be able to have a gun. Even some police confuse innocent people with criminals and end up shooting them. We need to stop this as soon as possible. Congrats on winning the election!
Sincerely,
Irvin Fuentes
