Dear Future President,

Abortion should not be allowed In the U.S. It is killing another human being before they can even experience the world. If you simply cannot take care of the child, then you can put it up for adoption. You should not kill it because you simply cannot provide for it. Give it a chance to live its life and be happy. Every baby should have the right to live and go to school, get married and then have kids of their own.

According to http://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/data_stats/ In 2012, 699,202 legal induced abortions were reported to CDC from 49 reporting areas. Women in their twenties accounted for the majority of the abortions in 2012. I understand that many women that are victims of sexual abuse may want to abort their children because of the experience they went through, but I still believe that they should give it a chance to see the world, maybe even change it. The Associated Press reported in June, 2015, that nationwide the number of abortions decreased by an average 12% since 2010 says http://www.operationrescue.org/about-abortion/abortions-in-america/. In the U.S. about half of the pregnancies are unintended, 4/10 of those unintended pregnancies were aborted.

In conclusion, abortion rates are way too high. Innocent babies are being killed because their mothers cannot raise them. There are many other alternatives to abortion. How would you feel knowing you are the reason a child won’t get to grow up. Abortion needs to stop, and it needs to before it gets out of hand.
