College tuition
This essay summarizes how expensive College tuition is and the problems it can cause.
Dear Madam/Mr. President,
As you may know, college tuition is highly expensive. This essay will address how expensive the average college tuition costs and how expensive college tuition can cause problems not only for the economy, but, also for the students going bankrupt as a result of this expensive tuition.
www.collegedata.com explains, "According to the College Board, the average cost of tuition and fees for the 2015–2016 school year was $32,405 at private colleges, $9,410 for state residents at public colleges, and $23,893 for out-of-state residents attending public universities." As you can see, college tuition is highly expensive as a result of the government being rendered incapable of helping colleges to support themselves. Now the colleges are charging higher tuition.
Many good students who should be attending college are not able to attend due to being in a poor family. This means fewer scientists, engineers, and others who could improve economic growth. Not only does it cause issues for the economy, but it also causes issues for the students themselves. Several cases of this involve students being concerned about paying thousands of dollars in loans, possibly procrastinating on potential marriage and children. I hope you took my letter into consideration.
Sincerely,
Ian N.
