Minimum Wage
According to “The State Minimum Wages” post, people are taxed 10% to 39.6% which means that this benefits the wealthiest people that earned way more than a middle class family. There is a myth that says increasing the minimum wage will cause people to lose their jobs and reduce the economy.
Dear President,
The minimum wage should be raised due to the small amount of money people get and the struggle it causes, like debts that people get when they borrow money from the bank with interest, taxes that the government takes from 10% of the check to 39% for the “community”, and the cost of house maintenance (gas,water,rent).Too many people have a wrong idea about minimum wage, half of the country, 54% thinks gets paid the right amount.

There is a myth that says Increasing the minimum wage will cause people to lose their jobs and reduce the economy, which is not truth because by increasing the minimum wage many people get fair payment and real benefits. Furthermore, the fast food industry is the biggest collector of minimum wage payment for workers, with more 3.5 million employees and 18% receive fair treatment.
America is a great place, many people attempt to visit this place or live here, but unfortunately not everyone can. The minimum wage (Federal 7.25) affects almost illegal immigrants. Most of the immigrants and have to get two or more jobs to support their families and themselves and that is not enough their children drop out of school and work to help their families as well. But immigrants do not have the same benefits as a legal citizen, they do not get support from the government like insurance, fee of money or loans.
President I ask you to change the law because I do not... we do not want to see America in this condition.This is not the way our people should be living or trying to survive. The worst part is for agricultures and farmers. Agricultures get exploited with 6 dollars an hour. Farmers sell their products at higher prices because they can’t pay the maintenance of their farm and at the same time support their families.
I have met people that worked a lot and they believed in the president, the president that can make changes so many people get rest and get freedom thanks to you.
