Taxes
I'm writing about how America is in dept and the people who are as well having trouble paying the taxes
September 30, 2016
Dear Next President,
Hello, thank you for taking your time to read my letter. I would like to touch base on something that I think is important. Millions of Americans who are poor or at least in the middle class struggle with paying taxes. Here are some ways you can try to help keep these people on their feet.
To many of the rich people (1% of Americans), paying their taxes is no big problem to them, at all. To the people working hard, that have to pay a few hundred dollars, it is a lot, How can we fix this issue? We simply create more jobs, fix the exploits or loopholes that companies use to avoid taxes, and have the wealthy pay their fair share.
Creating more jobs can increase the work labor and decrease the money the government spends. This will also help companies to expand. Companies have exploited loopholes to keep from paying taxes because they’re not on the U.S. land, claiming they’re exempt. This is not fair and we need to stop this from continuing, Let’s have the companies come back and contribute to the American economy. Also, according to Americans For Tax Fairness “CEO’s of major corporations earn nearly 300 times more than an average worker”. But “The Richest 1% paid an effective federal income tax rate of 24.7% in 2014”. The tax rate for the wealthy needs to go up.
Congratulations on your victory, I hope you look at what I’ve said and think about it and hope you can make or at least try to make some changes to help fix the tax system.
Sincerely
Fabian
