Dear next president:

Illegal immigration has been a problem in the United States for a long time and needs to be stopped. I have heard that people who were running for president had an idea of their own on how to take care of this problem. I hope that your idea is one that will stop undocumented immigrants from getting inside too easily if not at all.

These illegal immigrants are bad for not only the United States but they also affect the country which they came from. They are affecting their own country by making people here in the U.S think bad things about the country the illegals came from. This isn’t the only problem though, more and more people are coming here illegally because they see people successfully crossing the border and not getting caught.

Pew research center states “In a Pew Research Center survey conducted in May, a solid majority (72%) of Americans – including 80% of Democrats, 76% of independents and 56% of Republicans – say undocumented immigrants currently living in the U.S.should be allowed to stay in this country legally if they meet certain requirements.” Personally I agree with this, they should be able to stay if they meet the requirements, one requirement could be that if the illegal immigrant has a history with dealing drugs or taking drugs then they should not be able to stay in the U.S.

The United States does not have to deport every single illegal immigrant that comes here

Like Pew research center stated “undocumented immigrants currently living in the U.S.should be allowed to stay in this country legally if they meet certain requirements.” This could be a good solution to not having to deport the illegal immigrants.
