Pollution is one of the biggest killers, affecting more than 100 million worldwide and becomes one of the world’s biggest problems. Pollution is one of the most important earth problem you should worry about. Air pollution is an introduction into the air of a substance which has harmful or has poisonous effects. Air pollution is one of the most dangerous types of pollution. If air pollution doesn’t go away what would we have as a healthy source of oxygen? Ways to reduce air pollution is by conserving energy which everyone could do just by turning the lights off. Another way of conserving energy is by using energy efficient light bulbs and appliances. There is more than just air pollution there is water pollution and land pollution.

Water pollution is a contamination of bodies of water. For the water to be semi-clean the contamination needs to be removed. The contamination of the water are harmful compounds. Water pollution is caused when pollutants are directly or indirectly discharged into bodies of water. Water pollution mainly looks like fizzed up water with many contaminations in it and has trash floating in it. There are five ways to avoid water pollution, do not pour fat from cooking or any other type of fat, oil, or grease down the sink. Do not dispose of household chemicals or cleaning agents down the sink or toilet. Do not flush pills, liquid or powder medications or drugs down the toilet. Avoid using the toilet as a wastebasket. Avoid using a garbage disposal. Water pollution is very hazardous to humans as well as animals. Water pollution can cause disease and blood pressure problems. In many shores shellfish can no longer be taken off because of how much contamination is in the water.

Land pollution is a very dangerous type of pollution and could bring harm to the earth. Land pollution is destruction of the earth's land surfaces, often directly or indirectly as a result of man's activities and their misuse of land resources. Land pollution is caused by both natural factors and human activities. The natural causes are change in rainfall patterns, earthquakes, wind and glacier movements. There are five things to prevent land pollution by human activities, buy biodegradable products. Store all liquid chemicals and waste in spill-proof containers. Eat organic foods that are grown green without pesticides. Don't use pesticides, and buy products that have little packaging. There is way more than just three types of pollution but land, water, and air are the most dangerous of all.
